“Our ultimate goals are reformed textbooks and teachers committed to tolerance and peace.”
WHAT ARE PALESTINIAN CHILDREN CURRENTLY EXPOSED TO IN THE CLASSROOM?
Incitement-filled books that encourage hatred and the killing of Jews, deny the existence of the Jewish State of Israel (a UN member state), claim that Jews have no historical connection to the land and glorify martyrs.
Promoting martyrdom and jihad will not produce a generation of Palestinians inclined to negotiate a
peaceful resolution of the conflict.
Even if UNRWA were to be dissolved, the hate and incitement in the education would still have to be addressed.
THROUGH ADVOCACY AND COMMUNICATION WITH THE US CONGRESS, UN MEMBER STATES, NGOS, WIDER CIVIL SOCIETY AND INDIVIDUALS, OUR MISSION IS TO END THE TEACHING OF VIOLENCE AND TERRORISM IN THE SCHOOLS.
This video is about Camp Jihad - filmed on location in UNRWA Palestinian refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem during the summer of 2013. The film was produced by the Center for Near East Policy Research to expose dangerous UNRWA policies and practices.
Over decades, various entities within the UN have adopted anti-Israel resolutions on many topics.
This analysis shows how the United Nations, in violation of its Charter, has built within its system an apparatus designed to destroy one of its 193 member states.

David Bedein, head of the Center for Near East Policy Research, told JNS that as a result of the educational curriculum used in Shuafat’s UNRWA schools, “every child is indoctrinated that they should kill the Jews.” But what is unique, says Bedein, is the fact that “this is happening inside Israel.”
As co-chairs of ReformUNRWA: Stop Teaching Hate , we believe Ilhan Omar must be removed from the Committee and urge the committee Chair, Congressman Engel, and other democrats and republicans to work toward that goal.
The United Nations has a terrible record in situations like this. When the Human Rights Commission was disbanded because of its bias and inaction against human rights violations, it was replaced by the Human Rights Council, which has adopted virtually all the abysmal policies and personnel of its predecessor. Changing the name of an organization does not change its agenda. We will continue to campaign for a replacement for UNRWA that will promote peace.
With the United Nations General Assembly meeting this past week, they have been keen to bring to the attention of the world the education that is being provided in UNRWA schools. We believe that the hate-filled education that has been provided to young Palestinians over the last three generations is a leading cause of the failure to achieve peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
Our message is simple: The education of Palestinian school children must change drastically if there is ever to be a lasting negotiated peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Why? Because these schools have been inciting three generations of young Palestinians to hate and kill Jews, and the only means of conflict resolution that these students have been exposed to is one of violence.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has issued a special report on "Children in Violent Conflict'" which strongly criticizes the use of children by terrorist organizations.
There was great hope and anticipation several years ago when the Palestinian Authority (PA) announced that it was completely replacing its K-12 school textbooks. But new editions merely confirm obsessive Palestinian hatred of Jews and rejection of peace with Israel.
Switzerland temporarily stops its payments to UNRWA, the UN relief agency for Palestinian refugees. This is reported by the Department of Foreign Affairs DFA on request of Radio SRF. The reason for this is an internal report in which the leadership is accused of abuse of office, mismanagement and nepotism.
In the decades since its founding, no body has done more than the UNRWA to perpetuate the Palestinian refugee crisis. Enabled by UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency), the Arab states have managed to keep Palestinians in a dismal and perpetual state of displacement, all for the sake of being used as a political cudgel to attack Israel. Rather than solve the refugee crisis, UNRWA perpetuates it, actively encouraging a so-called “right of return.”
Wondering what other objectionable materials the curriculum might contain, the group of citizens asked the Newton School Committee to make it public, arguing that as residents of the town and taxpayers they had a right to know what was being taught to their children. The school committee refused.
Mr. Lerner, addresses UNRWA issues but neglects to mention the hate-filled, incitement of the content of their educational system.
Thousands of UNRWA students spent last summer learning how to shoot with live ammunition and many now camp out near Gaza’s border with Israel as Hamas, which dominates UNRWA media, continues its violent Friday assaults on Israel's international border.
Jared Kushner, senior advisor and son-in-law to President Donald Trump, wrote in a confidential email that the United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) is "corrupt" and "doesn't help peace."
Following are the remarks delivered by U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell at UN Watch's Rally for Equal Rights at the United Nations, which was attended by more than 1,000 people on March 18 in Geneva, to protest that day's UN Human Rights Council assault on Israel. This means that UNRWA schools will no longer be given permits and licenses to operate in eastern Jerusalem and will be replaced by municipal schools. According to the report, there is already a plan to lease new buildings or, at least, to install temporary buildings that will serve as schools.
